Up till now, I have run on RTTY and PSK31 as you have suggested.  Is it 
not true that TREBLE and BASS sliders impact the transmit modulation 
waveform, rather than the received signal processing?  On SSTV, would it 
be beneficial to cut the transmit audio below 1200 Hertz and, perhaps, 
enhance audio at the high end range of 2300 Hz.  Enhancing the high end 
might cause color distortion, however ???
