Mike, The USB audio adapter just replaces a soundcard. You have to send the audio output through the mic input of the transceiver in order to use VOX for PTT, or use the serial port for PTT.
Transmit audio on PSK31 is WAVE audio, so be sure the Wave slider is not at the bottom.
