One more question folks... A few of the hams in this area have started a CW net on 80 meters with the goals of encouraging hams to try this old digital mode. We are working on my idea that we link the HF net with a 2M FM repeater in the area and cross band repeat it so that codeless hams could get CW practice. That idea spawned the suggestion that we not only repeat the net on to 2M FM, but possibly create a method for 2M FM Ops to actually check in to the CW net ( ..." with a little technical ingenuity, we could make it bi-directional. As long as the FM signals are clean, a very fast VOX type decoder at the speaker of the two meter rig could key an HF rig. I think it is legal, too!...")
