If you travel often, using a Yahoo type service lets you pick up mail
anywhere. Unless your ISP provides a toll free long distance line, you
will have to make a long distance call back to your ISP when you are
out of the area - and you will be working at Dial-Up speeds.

If you take a trip to another country, like Mexico, and use internet
cafes, you definitely do NOT want to use your regular email address
(should your email provider allow web access). You never know what
"capture" routines are embedded in the public machines.

Best to set up a email adr just for the trip. I think hotmail drops
the account automatically after 90 days of no activity - so just use
it during the trip and let everyone know to switch over when you get back.

Paul
