Hello Andy, I have replaced monitor cables in the past. Just get out a ohm meter and buzz the existing cable out and write down on piece of paper the color for each pin. Do the same thing on the new cable. Swap the cable out. I found color coding different on the ones I have repaired. Wire in the new cable.
