Yes you can, if you use arq.

Have a look at the pictures I took during an especially brutal qso session this week.

The URL is http://pskmail.wikispaces.com/QRM .

Downloading 1 email of 7 kB took 40 minutes. Pskmail waited for the qso to go away, or made use of the gaps between transmissions of e.g. the SSB and the RTTY stations... Some of the Pactor stations I could work through, another one blocked the download for 5 minutes, it was S9+20 dB....

The qso still was succesful, and the error percentage was 0%, notwithstanding SSB, RTTY, Packet and Pactor qrm (not in that order).

Rx was FT897 with AGC off (packet qrm within the filter passband), 500 Hz filter and DSP on min. bandwidth (0Hz at -3 dB).

!

It also tells you a lot about the mentality of the digital operators who jammed us. Talking about ham spirit....

I was just in an Olivia QSO on 20M and had a pactor station fire up
right on top of us and still got nearly 100% copy. I don't think you
can do that with PSK.
