It is amazing how well this works; more than once, I've gotten totally 
confused as to how I was decoding PSK with cables misconnected or the 
mixer misconfigured -- only to discover this audio path carrying the 
freight.

I've tried a few audio PSK CQs in commercial airplane cabins, but have 
yet to get a response. If laptop mics and speakers were capable, we 
could define an ultrasonic calling frequency for intra-plane QSOs.
