Hi John,
I would suggest you download the live-CD which you can run on any
windows machine without affecting anything on your hard drive as
everything is in RAM which can be saved to a USB drive. There are
some interesting things happening with pskmail as w1hkj keeps
upgrading fldigi and I just heard psk256 is close to being added. Our
pskmail server beacons 3 minutes after the hour. As far as Linux
goes, some of the distros out there are very impressive. I am
currently using MEPIS on a desktop and Kateos on an old laptop. An
excellent article of Linux vs Vista is worth reading. As I have
mentioned before I still prefer my Mac for most things and have only
used windoze a few times in my life.
