  Correction... on HF data subbands there is no finite bandwidth limit,
  as long as you stay within the subband... and transmit a signal that
  is no wider than a "phone" signal... whatever that is... some say
  15kHz... some say 10kHz... some say 6kHz. But the FCC has not set a
  hard limit for bandwidth of a data/text signal.
