Andy, Once I get the full mode support in place I will write a remote agent for DM780 - then you get the audio without any compression caused by SKYPE or whatever. My aim is to use a station in California from my home in Switzerland.
I'll open source the agent (Windows only for now) so that others can use it if they want.
