I'm operate from my family room via wireless to all my wired PCs in the shack/data center. Even my work PC!! Wireless is the way to go. I found that you may have to fix your wireless router on a quiet channel (use Net Stumbler) to prevent interference. I have 3 wireless LANs and 2 WANs. I'm trying to get the 2 WANs bridge, either wireless or wired.
