I feel your pain, Joe. I had to move from a basic $10/month shared hosting server to a fully dedicated server at $150/month to keep things going with my JT65 logging/spotting system and there were times even that struggled to keep up with demand. I've had to get creative with throttling peak demand on the database as it's the resource hog, but even with that I've had to have the RAM quadrupled and add a higher performance disk system to keep it going. Of course, now that the system has been around a while and the initial interest has died down I have about 60..90% excess capacity through the week and about 40..50% on weekends, but it's been a great lesson in scalability if nothing else. Good luck and thanks for all your efforts!
