Is there any way that the arq function can be activated when using the plain talk 'mode' also could the squelch be sensed to help prevent collisions ?
System worked well on 500 using mfsk16 sending emails over about 250 miles with 10 watts, making the first data qso on the band that actually printed 100% each end qsb or no qsb ! Though not prehaps in the original concept, could multi connects and routing be added - round table mode - all arq linked ...A sort of packet light .. but with the choice of transmission modes to match band conditions ..that would of enabled a error free 3 way qso !
