I am using my new old Ten Tec 540 in digital mode. What I am finding is I am only able to get 20-30 watts out due to my sound card not providing enough gain in the audio (I get 100 watts in CW mode). I am using a manual ptt connection to the back of the radio.
Will an SL-1 provide the umpf I need to get a better signal out? Or an interface from a different manufacturer? Thanks for your assistance. Kim AB7JK
