FWIW the router is really just a service - and the driver runs as a service anyway (all drivers do). I think the microHam solution is actually rather good.
I'm using it for HRD (CAT) and DM780 (soundcard) on 6m. When the 6m season is over I'll probably run it on 30m / 17m.
