This Yahoo group has had a Facebook presence for a year or so in the
form of a Facebook "group". No one really uses it, probably because
using the Yahoo group is easier. However, despite some of the privacy
issues that have been well publicized recently, the overall simplicity
of Facebook is rather appealing and it is very useful for a quick
check of who is doing what, and where. The Facebook groups do not seem
to be as useful because you have to drill down an extra layer or two.
You have to make more of a conscious effort to actually look for the
group's content, it does not seem to be quickly available when
glancing at your own Facebook page.

So, I am playing around with a Facebook "page" for digitalradio rather
than a "group". My early experiments suggest that the Page does show
up in one's own Facebook page (if you want) , allowing an easier quick
glance. Please consider become a "fan" (Facebook terminology) and
testing it out. I'm not fully sure how to link to it, but
http://www.facebook.com/pages/digitalradio/123270301037522 seems to
work.
