Description The Senior HFE ensures that a user-focused, high performance, high commitment environment is developed and maintained. Senior HFE5 is responsible for innovative information organization structures, interaction designs, page-level content organization, navigation, and prototypes of systems. They work as chief user advocates on each project team. They are responsible for promoting user needs within an overall structure deliverables as that integrates the recommendations of the project team regarding user experience. The Senior role is achieved when an employee demonstrates superior analytic skills. Having also demonstrated an ability to translate business and user requirements to a workable, efficient solution. Required Skills: .5+ years experience in interactive design with a commercial software product company. .BA/BS or advanced degree preferred in Human Factors, Human- Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Cognitive Psychology, or related tied or demonstrated comparable experience designing commercial software products. Demonstrated experience with designing B2B and B2C web-based products or web sites. .ln depth knowledge of User Interface Design principles, Human Factors, User-Centered Design Processes, Interaction Design guidelines, Usability Methodologies, industry standards and trends, platform standards, software development process, and prototyping/design. Ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team. .Proven team player. Strong analytical, problem solving, decision-making and headers skills are essential. Ability to translate audience, technology and other key product requirements into effective UI design solutions. .Experience designing UI w reframes and prototypes .Experience writing design documents to effective y communicate functional behavior to stakeholders. .Skilled at influencing product development teams to implement customer-centric solutions. .Proficient using graphic imaging and design tools such as Photoshop, IIustrator, Dream Weaver, MS Visio, MS Visua Design Studio, etc. .Preferred working knows edge of HTML, XHTML and CSS coding. Knowledge of web technologies such as applicant on and web servers, .NET, etc. .Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives.
