*Title:** ****Project manager(Data Warehouseing and BI)*** *Location Pleasanton , CA* *Duration: 6 months* * 10+ years Overall experience* *Data Warehousing 1 – 3 years* *MS Word 10 years* *NIKU Workbench 1 – 3 years* *Project Management 10 years* This position is responsible for managing one or more projects and for providing senior technical expertise and leadership in core application development technologies. Expertise is required in project management, system development lifecycles, requirements analysis and design, quality assurance, and related tools. Principal Accountabilities: - Manage one or more complex projects in compliance with project management and system development lifecycles. - Coordinate requirements analysis, design, and quality assurance activities for assigned projects. - Provide input to policies, standards, procedures, and training needs related to project management and quality assurance of technology related projects. - Provide input to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Work in a consulting role on other technical projects - Excellent communication skills (written and oral), diplomatic, good negotiation skills and highly organized. - Create and/or monitor progress of project collateral including but not limited to project plans, detailed project schedules, business requirements, scoping statements, testing strategy, testing plans, minutes, risk mitigation plans, issue resolution/tracking, project budgets, and communication plans. - Successful delivery of program goals and objectives within an agreed timeframe, scope, budget, and quality. - Effective meeting management and facilitation * including documenting meetings with clarity and conciseness. - Must be able to effectively motivate and lead teams in a matrix environment. - Excellent analytical skills. - Effectively manage change within project regarding scope, budget, time and quality. Knowledge and Experience: - Knowledge and experience normally acquired through or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelor*s degree and a minimum of 10 years of job related experience and project management experience. - *Standard Project Management methodology** **using PMI is preferred. - Experience in use of MS Project, MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel - BI Project Management experience especially with Cognos Tool Set * People Management: Provide technical support and coaching to team members Strong command of English Language Please send resumes with contact details and rates.
