This is my direct-client opening for an *Multiple Windows Admin - El Segundo, CA.* This is a 3 Months contract (extendable) position. The Hourly rate is DOE. *Job Responsibilities: *Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks including system installation, web/application server configuration, backup/recovery, system monitoring, troubleshooting, user administration and database administration. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Performance of other activities as assigned by the Supervisor. We wants someone with MOST of these skills, since no one person would have all the following skills!! Understanding of Web based technologies and tools including Apache, Tomcat, BEA, Oracle DBMS, Veritas Backup Solutions, Microsoft Windows Server 2000-2003, Microsoft IIS, CVS, Linux, Kronos, CITRIX, SharePoint, OnBase, Hyperion Enterprise, and WebMethods. Understanding of business process and computer system design, testing and security methodologies.
