Database Administration: 1. Participating in solutions design, architecture recommendations, and development for continuous improvement pertaining to SQL data services. 2. Analyzing systems and database performance, performing system health checks, and implementing tuning improvements for systems hosting SQL data services. 3. Performing server and database administration including software upgrades, patches, monitoring and tuning, SQL trace analysis, optimal database layout, disk layout and database reorganization. 4. Organizing file system structures, administering OS tuning/performance improvements, and performing troubleshooting for systems hosting SQL data services. Database Design and Development: 1. Providing technical consulting to application development, functional, rollout, integration and change release management teams, projects, and ad-hoc initiatives. Participating in technical projects across multiple teams, projects and ad-hoc initiatives. 2. Building and managing database ad hoc reports, views, and queries. 3.
