(Oracle-9i -11G) Knowledge of Fannie Mae’s internal business and Architecture and Infrastructure Knowledge of the relational database engine to the internals level, and ability to apply this information in OLTP and DSS environments. Knowledge of networking concepts, object oriented technology, data warehousing. Candidate must have experience with systems development and support of mission-critical databases. Financial system experience is preferred. Experience with data manipulation mechanisms such as SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers is required. Experience in designing, building and managing large data warehouse databases is required. Extensive experience in developing database backup and recovery strategies, replication and performance tuning is required. The incumbent should have experience working on UNIX platforms and writing shell scripts.
