Duration: 6-9 months Location: Nashville, TN Rate: Keep reasonable Must have extensive Data Warehouse SSRS experience and it needs to be current. Abbreviated Task Description: This position is responsible for gathering and interpreting business rules and requirements for data validation and end-user reporting. This position will participate in reports design based on the analysis of gathered user requirements and other information. This position will be responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of analytical and statistical reporting based on both current and longitudinal data from the district data warehouse. This position will also participate in the design and development of data validation reporting on source system data. SQL Server Reporting Services will be the report development platform used. This position will perform bench testing and will work with end-users on subsequent acceptance testing. This position will document and deploy verified reporting as determine by district requirements and Website capacities. This position will perform any required user training. Required Skills: Extensive knowledge of SQL Server 2005 database platform, including data architecture and design. Experience with dimensionally modeled databases is desired. Extensive knowledge and experience writing stored procedures. Extensive knowledge and proven experience designing and developing complicated analytical reports (charts, graphs, drill-down, and drill-through reporting, etc.). Extensive knowledge and proven experience in the development of reports using SQL Server Reporting Services. Ability to successfully interface with end-user populations. Ability to successfully collect, analyze, and formulate effective data and reporting design specifications based on end-user requirements. Ability to develop efficient and effective reporting outcomes.
