*Client Job Title: *Siebel Analyst *Start Date: *Mon, 04-May-09 *End Date: *Thu, 31-Dec-09 *Education: *Bachelor's Degree *Employee Rate: *$45.00/hr *Description* Duties: The person will be primarily responsible for supporting the Pharma New Jersey OBIEE 10.1 Analytics Reporting application and the Pharma NJ Siebel 8.1 SFA application. The person will also be required to participate in the development work for any new OBI or CRM-related application implemented at the New Jersey site and endure compliance to all Bayer Corporate Business Services SOP's and processes. The candidate will serve as second level support for the Siebel systems in NJ for their Sales Force Automation Application (Insight) version 8.1 and call center application (Intouch version 7.8). The candidate will provide customization on a project by project basis for the Pharma NF system; provide data extracts for legal requests and sales management; for assisting in upgrading Siebel versions on a project by project basis and in utilizing Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager to load data as required. ƒÞPerson must have 3 - 5 years Siebel development experience ƒÞMust have good communication skills ƒÞMust have Base Siebel and Siebel Analytics reporting tool experience * * *Comments* The selected candidate will possess: 1. Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field plus 8 years information technology experience or six years current information technology experience 2. Experience with BI applications or data warehouse applications (such as Oracle Business Intelligence or Cognos) 3. Experience using ETL tools such as Informatica to load data from the OLTP to the OLAP database 4. Experience in Siebel 7 or 8 database models, Siebel configuration, server architecture and Siebel Server administration. Knowledge of the Siebel Architecture, business components, scripting, etc. 5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate concepts and ideas related to assigned projects and customer support, and have the ability to work effectively with a variety of people at all levels 6. Self-motivated with high degree of initiative and excellent follow-up skills, along with strong analytical and problem solving skills 7. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams, global teams as well as independently. Pr4eferred Qualifications 1. Siebel Life Sciences experience 2. BI applications experience 3. Informatics experience or similar ETL tools 4. Pharmaceuticals experience 5. Siebel certification will be considered a plus 6. Actuate enterprise reporting, Siebel Analytics/Informatica experience a plus 7. Minimum 2-3 years experience in Oracle PL/SQL I look forward to hearing from you soon.
