ONLY GC CITIZEN *Duties, Responsibilities, Key Accountabilities* • This position owns and serves as clearinghouse for all things organic search. This position needs to council and push individual marketers to drive optimal performance from site configurations sharing best practices, encouraging aggressive testing, and disseminating results throughout the organization. • Act as resident expert with regards to natural search marketing in order to garner the optimal amount of support possible. Aggregate and disseminate findings so that other departments can benefit. • Actively pursue tactics to drive performance, both from a site side and a link building perspective. • Establish performance metrics at a global, brand, and keyword level so that comparisons and management can be done easily and uniformly across all brands and titles. • Own company understanding with regard to the changing *SEO* environment. Maintain skill set and understanding based on standard best practices. Ensure that activities remain "white hat" as interpreted by the respective search engines. • Interface closely with client marketing group to ensure that goals and objectives are being achieved. *Job Challenges* • Driving SEO program performance across a multitude of scopes, complexities, and involvements. • Managing priorities in a high paced work environment. • Taking responsibility, sharing vision and establishing innovation to make client organization a much more effective entity with regards to *SEO*.
