Direct Client: Bluetooth Device Engineer. Location: PA Immediate Interviews
Client is looking for a strong development lead to head up the Wireless / Bluetooth Drivers development. As the lead engineer, you will drive development related to WiFi and Bluetooth protocol stacks as well as common networking driver framework components such as NDIS for the Windows Mobile platform. Close collaboration with internal partners (e.g. Windows Networking) and external IHV/OEM partners will be essential for success in this role. Some of the near term challenges ahead of the team are: Designing and developing a driver to auto pair technical devices using NPC Enabling an always connected networking experience on the phone which is simple and reliable Defining software interfaces and hardware requirements to enable support of next generation wireless technologies The ideal candidate will have a depth of experience developing mission critical software and a passion for building highly performant and reliable software. They will also be someone who can apply creative solutions to problems and drive architectural direction with external groups. Familiarity with Windows Mobile platform or Windows Networking wireless architecture is a strong plus but not a requirement.
