** *Title: Integration* *Developer.* Skills: *Java**, SQL, XML, Guidewire* Duration: 1 year Description: Title: *Integration Developer (Billings and Collections)* Responsible for designing, developing, and testing the integrations between the *Guidewire BillingCenter application* to a middleware product in order to effect the integration with a variety of insurance applications. The candidate will be a member of an implementation team delivering a configurable application using the scrum methodology and should have demonstrated experience with development sprints. The candidate will also be responsible for working closely with a middleware development team. Roles and Responsibilities: * Estimating effort required for each integration point * Designing the overall integration architecture in conjunction with experts in target systems and the middleware team * Designing and coding integration programs including plug-ins, message sinks (and supporting business rules), and programs that call the Guidewire application APIs * Setting up and managing automated build and testing processes * Resolving issues identified in testing Position Requirements: * Experience coding and testing *Java*-based integration programs and services * Proven ability to resolve issues identified in testing * Experience with other modern technologies, such as SQL, XML, and scripting languages * Experience with modern integrated development environments such as Eclipse, myEclipse Blue, or WSAD * Experience with using testing tools * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Demonstrated problem solving skills * A broad knowledge of *Java*-based computing environments * Experience using middleware products, particularly BizTalk * Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
