The contractor will use advanced knowledge in testing ETL processes using tools like Informatica, DataStage and SSIS. The contractor will have a minimum of 5 years of experience testing ETL processes. This person will be responsible for creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans, test cases and test scripts. The contractor will perform manual (and ultimately automated) testing, which will include system and regression testing, front-end and back-end testing, uses knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving complex test problems. The contractor will participate in planning and directing quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of QA process. Required Skills cid:[email protected] cid:[email protected] Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of QA testing experience including automated, manual and functional testing. 5 years of Web Testing Experience including testing back-end and front-end. Strong Database Skills (SQL Server, Oracle etc) ETL Tools (Informatica, DataStage, SSIS etc) Excellent QA Skills (Test Plan, Test Cases and Test Scripts) Strong knowledge of web service testing, test planning, testing methodologies, QA analytical techniques, and software testing tools. Ability to understand and learn business processes driving application development and enhancements for functional and usability testing Experience in all stages of application testing, including functional, usability, regression, and performance testing of web-based applications. Extremely detail-oriented, focused mind and superior work ethics Time management skills utilized to effectively prioritize problem resolution tasks and project tasks. Excellent verbal & written communications skills Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with Mercury Suite of tools, including (QTP and/or LoadRunner.) Financial (Banking) services experience a plus.
