Enforcing and refining existing project management practices will be critical including determining customer requirements and project scope through implementation and testing. Coordination of development activities with offshore resources required.* *Along with the Global Sales/margin application, this position will also be responsible for the development of a cost center/management reporting application which is planned to be deployed in 2009. Currently Hospira using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) for cost center and management reporting. Hospira desires to remove the cost center and management reporting from HFM and build into an essbase application.* * * *Essential Job Functions:* * * *1. Five+ years functional competency with Hyperion Essbase with* *one to two years of technical development.* * * *2. Ten+ years experience in Finance related roles such as* *Corporate Finance, Accounting or Financial Planning & Analysis.* * * *3. Financial reporting background with hands-on experience on* *reporting tools within Hyperion System 9 BI+ reporting studio like Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View and Web Analysis.* * * *4. Experience with high-end reporting tools (ie. Business Objects)* *preferred* * * *5. Experience with Hyperion Planning and FDM (formerly UpStream)* *desired.* * * *6. Experiences to include: * * * *· V 6.5 or higher, System 9 preferred.* * * *· Resolving complex calc issues.* * * *· Working with a BSO database. * * * *· Partitioning experience preferred. * * * *7. Experience with financial systems and the corresponding* *business processes and reporting environments. * * * *8. Progressive experience with financial application development* *and oversight, along with system implementation and project management experience.* * * *9. Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.* * * *10. Bachelor's degree required.* * * * * *Functional Skills:* * * * * *1. Analytical skills, problem solving ability.* * * *2. System design and solution architecture expertise.* * * *3. Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.* * * *4. Previous consulting experience is a plus.* * * *5.
