Individual will be responsible for the technical and information architecture design and development of critical knowledge management solutions involving enterprise content management, teaming, collaboration, enterprise search and business intelligence aimed at improving employee effectiveness and innovation in roles critical to Unisys success such as sales, delivery and solutions development. The individual will work with the KM Director, business stakeholders, SharePoint developers, IT, and end users to (a) clearly understand requirements, (b) define the technical and information architecture which effectively leverages the best and most appropriate capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, (c) design and drive the successful SharePoint-based technology solution development including testing and quality assurance. Responsibilities also include guiding developers and sharing experience, best practices and lessons learned. Specific responsibilities include: • Understand the full scope of capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Office 2007 and their integration features and benefits. • Work with business owners to translate business requirements into appropriate solution architectures and SharePoint design specifications. • Present to stakeholders the solution technical approach, associated benefits, and the supportability and maintainability issues and considerations. • Estimate level of difficulty and schedules for building the solution components and associated SharePoint sites/customizations. • Create technical prototypes and proofs of concept. • Project manage the SharePoint-based solution build and oversee off-shore development resources as needed in the design and building of specific solution components. • Ensure the technical solutions are effectively documented for both supportability and evolution. • Assess new SharePoint release capabilities and other synergistic KM technologies with substantial benefit to Unisys and provide recommendations with business justification. • Provide virtual, recorded training sessions on the application of specific technologies and associated best practices. The qualified candidate will have: • 5 or more years experience in web solutions design, development and implementation • A track record of successfully architecting and delivering portal and KM solutions • A deep, working knowledge of portals (SharePoint and MOSS 2007 in particular), content management, collaboration tools, and search o 2 or more years experience with MOSS 2007 or SharePoint 2003 solution design and development with a working knowledge of page layouts, master pages, content types, site definitions, web services, Microsoft Designer and Visual Studio. • Skills in XSLT, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and use of AJAX techniques desirable • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to lead and work effectively with global virtual teams • Development project management experience • A commitment to project success and delivering customer value • Microsoft certifications Linda Monalisa Aim Computer Consulting N.
