Max rate is $43/hr. but this is a long term contract with my client that could last awhile, years. It is our backfill. The assigned individual will report directly to the Deputy Director of Core Technology Services, Department of Technology, in connection with the performance of the Services under the Contract. Services The Contractor shall perform services and support for the County’s technology department. Services shall include, but limited to: Perform PeopleSoft upgrades Research patches on the PeopleSoft Customer Connection web site Download required patches from Customer Connection Create custom service packs for various PeopleSoft suites Apply required PeopleSoft patches to the PeopleSoft system after approval is given from functional team Coordinate testing of patches by the functional team Install PeopleSoft software and third party products Works closely with the DBA to resolve technical issues Aid functional users in resolving functional issues when necessary Perform Server Administration duties such as ensuring servers and schedulers are operational and online Work closely with the DBA to implement SQL requests Ensure that the processes in the Process Monitor are routinely “cleaned” as to not impact performance Support to the County’s payroll, time and labor and other processes Other duties, as assigned Experience Requirement At least 6 years of recent professional experience with ERP systems At least 3 years of recent professional experience using PeolpleSoft 8.1 At least 3 years of recent professional experience using SQR At least 3 years of recent professional experience using People Tools and PeopleCode At least 3 years of recent professional experience with SQL At lease 2 years of recent professional experience with Application Engine At lease 2 years of recent professional experience with Upgrade Assistant and Integration Tools JDEdwards experience a plus Educational Requirement Bachelor's Degree or similar discipline from a recognized college or university, or equivalent work experience.
