Position:- SAP SD Consultant Location:- Cleveland, OH Duration:- 3-4 Months with possibility for extension Responsibilities:- * The primary responsibilities of this role are to advise and support users of systems and to maintain applications in SAP Sales Order processing, covering. * Translation of business requirements into system requirements and system settings. * Project and change request implementations and rollouts; * Day-to-day support, including incidents, problems and service requests. Client's Order Desk architecture is complicated and includes the following:- * SAP to SAP system interfacing using IDOC's for messaging; SAP Variant Configuration for features and options translation; * Misc. customizations and non-SAP shipping and invoicing interfaces. Key skills of this role are:- 1) Translation of business requirements, incidents and issues to the systems landscape for troubleshooting and production support; 2) Promote resolution of new requirement through standard system functionality (SAP or complementary solution). 3) Support system customizations within defined standards for the system; 4) Support user organization in project phases (blueprint, testing, training, roll-out, etc.); * For this need client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst with strong troubleshooting and SAP technical skills; as VC and IDOC's processing may be considered. * The SAP functional space is Supply Chain Management (SCM) with SD primarily. The person have delivery capabilities in the following areas:- * Documenting incidents, system requirements, settings, modifications, etc.; * Timely and accurate information exchange with customers, colleagues and management; * Preferably primary experience in the business processes and/or execution in Sales and Distribution function * Standardized business process design, as required by the Business Process Owner(s); SAP skill requirements:- * Specific SD skills and requirements (minimum 3 years experience): * Specific SD VC skills and requirements (minimum 1-3 years experience): * Specific SD IDOC/EDI skills and requirements (minimum 1-3 years experience): * He or she will receive instructions and requests from the hiring manager, team lead, project manager or customer from day to day. * Prioritization and support will come from hiring manager as needed.
