Job Title: ETL Developer/SQL Server/ SQL Server IS Location: Chicago
Duration: 6 months Rate: Best Possible ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Designs, develops, and maintains data acquisition applications (Extract, Transform, and Load procedures) using Microsoft SQL Server Tools. * Stored Procedure development and adhoc T-SQL coding. * Package development using SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft's ETL platform in Sql Server 2005. * Regression testing, impact analysis of changes to environment. QUALIFICATIONS * Experience with designing and writing scripts to extract, transform, cleanse and load data * A solid understanding of the ETL processes * Ability to work in a team environment or individually * Flexibility to work in an evolving framework with evolving business requirements * Understanding of Kimball Methodology and Star-Schemas * Excellent technical troubleshooting and code debugging skills * Excellent written and oral Communication skills.
