Rate: $40/ hr ctc Requirement: Wireless Device Test Engineer Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science - MSEE/CS preferred - 2-3 years testing wireless handheld consumer devices in 3G, CDMA, GSM or TDMA technologies. Will be extremely familiar with RF test instrumentation, in particular Spirent RF test equipment and possess a fundamental understanding of RF systems and RF propagation. A working knowledge is expected in one or more of the following: LTE, WiFi, LBS (Location Based Services), Push-to-Talk, Audio standards and CDMA IS-95/2000. Ability to perform platform/capability testing (RF Parametrics): IS-95, IS-98 and IS-2000 on Spirent test equipment, Transmitter & Receiver characterization tests, TIA-916 - GPS Parametrics, Location Based Services (IS-801) and Audio tests. Will define test methodologies, perform first-level debugging of issues found, analyze results, generate test reports, defect reports and manage them to closure.
