Requirement:
Title: IT Manager Software Dev.
Responsibilities:
Need a solid Team Lead or Supervisor that has worked in an Oracle Financials/EBS
Environment. I don't not need a technical guru, however this person should have come
from an Oracle/Java development background and has moved up to to run a small team of
approx 6-10 people. Experience managing team and delivering high quality code. Experience
with Oracle financials/ E- business suite Oracle Forms/Reports Java/ PL SQL Web Services
Performance tuning. At least one year of BPEL experience.
1. Manages the personnel actions for the software development staff which includes but is
not limited to, approving vacation, scheduling employees, training and evaluating
employees, coaching and counseling when appropriate, and making salary or merit increase
recommendations. 2. Instructs, assigns, directs and checks the work of other software
developers to ensure that the work performed meets the needs to the application users.
May schedule and coordinate projects as needed. May also be involved in the vision and
design of a project. 3. Designs, develops, codes, tests and debugs software for those
applications in which a significant level of technical expertise is required. 4. Works
with technical staff to understand and analyze complex software problems and develops
specifications to resolve them. 5. May make suggestions or offer alternative resolutions
for software problems or enhancements. 6. Participates in the development of software
user manuals to support the ongoing use and application of the software. 7. May
demonstrate software to others to introduce them to new or enhanced applications. 8.
Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
