* *SGSN Engineer* * * *Description:* *Client has an opening in the Core organization for an SGSN Engineer with background in 2G (GPRS/EDGE) networking. * * * *General skills* - *Ability to focus on the critical issues. * - *Ability to write and communicate clearly and efficiently. * - *Ability to drive work among teams with sometimes conflicting priorities. * * * *Technical Skills:* *· Focused on IOT support for multi-vendor RAN/SGSN combinations. * *· Understanding and familiarity with the Nokia-Siemens and Nortel SGSNs.* *· This role is IOT-centric* *· Solid understanding of GERAN (Ericsson and Nortel) * *· Knowledge of the transport network.* *· 3G packet core and RAN knowledge* * * *Responsibilities:* *· Responsible for validating and certifying the multi-vendor combinations in a lab environment* *· Certifying handover and inter-operability of these combinations with other, already certified RAN/SGSN vendor combinations* *· Working through IOT issues with the vendors* *· Attempting to optimize performance and dimensioning of these combinations for the duration of their existence within the network.* * * *ATM/IP Transport Engineer* * * *Description:* * * *Client has an opening in the Core organization for a Core Network Design Engineer with background in ATM networking. * * * *General skills* * * - *Very good understanding of different components of the UMTS network and the IP and ATM transport. * - *Ability to focus on the critical issues. * - *Ability to write and communicate clearly and efficiently. * - *Ability to drive work among teams with sometimes conflicting priorities. * * * *Technical Skills:* * * *· FEMTO Gateway Transport ATM design and planning for Lab entry and FOA support.* *· Transport Design, Planning, Engineering between the Cell Site and the MTSO.* *· Delay and Jitter testing on IuB over IP testing.* *· Transport Design Evaluation, Test Plans and Lab testing.* ** *PS: Do not e-mail from your Gmail account as it will bounce back because Gmail has been blocked.
