Candidates should have strong technical skills implementing robust web UI
design and developing in the following: html, jsp, javascript and ajax for
the browser tier; Java Struts and Spring for the middle tier. The candidate
should be well versed in the proper application of technologies, and have
the ability to quickly learn any new technology that could lead to increased
efficiencies. In addition, the applicant should have strong communication
skills, the ability to mentor a small group of mid-level developers, and the
ability to collaborate with business analysts and business users to help
refine/define business requirements and use cases into an intuitive and well
structured application.
Technologies to be used: Spring, Struts, iBatis, JSP, JSTL, Javascript, Dojo
Javascript Toolkit, DHTML, CSS, JUnit, WebSphere, Oracle, WebMethods, SOA,
Web Services
Hands-on experience not required for all technologies, but equivalent
experience is highly preferred:
-any MVC in lieu of Struts
-Hibernate in lieu of iBatis
-any Javascript framework in lieu of Dojo
-J2EE experience in lieu of WebSphere
-any SQL RDBMS in lieu of Oracle
-any web service work in lieu of WebMethods and SOA
