Please find the details as below :* ** *Send me the Exact matching profiles to* [EMAIL PROTECTED] * * *We are looking for Transportation Management Analyst * * * - *Location : Peapack, NJ * - ***Duration : Short term * - ***Rate : Open* - *Start Date : ASAP* * * *JOB DESCRIPTION :* *Qualifications * ** Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Logistics, or related discipline is required. *MS preferred.* Candidates must have a minimum of *6 years of Information Technology experience* in implementing systems involving design, development, configuration and deployment of applications within a large IT organization preferably in Pharmaceutical manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain systems. *Experience with global systems a plus*. ** *Candidate should have experience in configuration, deployment and support of Commercial Off-the-Shelf Transportation Planning systems with JDA/Manugistics Transportation Suite experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of Warehouse and Order Management system flow a plus.* ** *Knowledge of UNIX scripting; debugging tools; Oracle database triggers, procedures and queries; Toad software required. Basic knowledge of Perl, C++, JAVA debugging required. Basic knowledge of Transportation-related EDI transactions a plus. Ability to develop in Synon a plus. Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite required.* ** *Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, configuration management, and software development methodologies (preferably Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) / Solution Life Cycle (SLC)) is desired. Full life cycle software design and implementation experience is required. Experience with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and validated systems a plus.* ** Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Candidate will be expected to work independently with a wide variety of global teams and software vendors. Successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to communicate, understand, and translate business requirements into information technology requirements and deliverables. Demonstrated ability to develop and adhere to project plans required. Ability to conduct thorough testing with rigorous documentation standards required. ** Strong analytical and problem solving abilities are required. Must be able to analyze and respond promptly to a variety of requests. Excellent follow through skills mandatory. Candidate must also be able to manage to project timelines. Candidate needs to be able to work cooperatively across functional boundaries. *Responsibilities* ** This analyst will support the Systems. These systems support domestic and global shipments to Manufacturing sites, Logistics Centers, Sales Force colleagues and outside customers. Analyst would be part of the Global Logistics IT team (includes the Order Management and Warehouse Management teams). ** A broad view of system integration as well as an awareness of the direct customer impact for these systems is required. ** This roles primary responsibility will be for the global support of the Transportation Planning and Optimization software (JDA/Manugistics). Future projects could include other transportation related projects. ** *The JDA/Manugistics Transportation Management Suite (TM) is a commercial software package. Development Analyst for Transportation Planning, duties could include: Analyze change requests and provide time/cost estimates. Develop or enhancement TM integration software to support business initiatives (UNIX, Oracle DBMS, FTP, Perl). Develop and execute unit and integration test plans. Manage to project schedules. * Work with WTI/WTE teams to coordinate all testing and project activity due to TM, UNIX OS (Sun Solaris) and Oracle DBMS upgrades and patches. ** Assist in cross team testing for new implementations. Coordinate tasks with other IT teams and business areas as needed. Provide Level 1 and 2 support for sites on Transportation Planning issues Provide system support for Client/Server and Web based TM software Monitor System performance ** Adhere to documentation and testing standards.
