*Job Description:* * * Seattle/Kirkland, WA 3+ months we’re looking for an experienced *Micro strategy* resource that can assist with deployment and configuration of the *Microstrategy* business intelligence tool to provide reporting for our client's Network Engineering and Operations organization. Ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of a typical *Microstrategy* deployment, including, but not limited to: server deployment/architecture, metadata creation, report/dashboard development, and post-deployment performance optimizations (I-Cubes, caching, etc). Knowledge of *Microstrategy* and general BI best practices and experience with latest *Microstrategy* software release (9.0) is also required. *Qualifications* · 10+ years of experience with *Microstrategy* Business Intelligence software, including expertise in latest software release (9.0). · Knowledge of all aspects of *Microstrategy* deployment and architecture, including: server configuration/architecture, metadata creation, report/dashboard development, and performance optimization. · Experience with tier-one applications, databases especially: Oracle and *Netezza.* · ability to leverage *Microstrategy* tools to make best use of resources and ensure optimum performance of the tool.
