Job Description: Relevant Experience (Yrs): 4+ years of experience in BO Data Services and 2+ years experience in SAP ABAP Technical/Functional Skills: BO Data Services & SAP ABAP Experience Required: - Maintaining ETL jobs written in Business Objects Data Services (previously known as Data Integrator) with emphasis on modifying ETL jobs and fine tuning ETL jobs for better performance - Configuring and managing the BO Data Services Development and Production environments. - Collaborating with DBAs to fine tune performance of Rapid Marts. - Functional experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) Suite and Finance (FI) module of SAP solutions is a strong plus - Experience in handling Network related issues arise due to external hosting of SAP Rapid mart environment or similar - Experience in configuring Data Services as well as setting up SAP Rapid Marts is a plus. - Has extensive knowledge and skill in ABAP programming, SAP data dictionary and file structures - Requirements gathering and experience in modifying SAP custom codes as per Business requirement - Selected candidate will be required to adhere to production support processes, implementation and change management procedures. - Extensive experience in understanding and suggesting the technical solution equivalent to customer requirements - Applicants will be responsible for streamlining the processes, and enhancing performance. - Create supporting technical documentation - Selected candidate will be required to adhere to production support processes and implementation change management procedures. - Applicants must be able to work in a rapidly changing environment and able to provide quick turnaround times for solutions to new initiatives as well as solutions to problem. - Applicants must be willing to work late hours for doing production support activities - Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities Roles & Responsibilities: - The primary responsibility of the production support analyst would be providing support to Rapid Mart environment - The support includes optimization and fine tuning of Data services jobs and enhancing ABAP codes if necessary - Requirements gathering and experience in modifying SAP custom codes as per Business requirement - Managing the Rapid Mart Development and Production environments - Assist in the management of customer's technical expectations - Create technical support document - Ensure highest level of quality is achieved within assignments at all times - Provide guidance/mentoring to other analysts in order to improve the knowledge and skills within the team.
