Senior Java Developer Work Location: 4608 Willard Ave, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 Duration: 6 Months Specializes in Java- Has experience in the development, maintenance, and testing of software programs. Responsibilities include Coding, testing, and debugging application programs from functional specifications. These individuals will work from program specifications or prototypes. * Works under the direction of a team leader, senior technical person or analyst. (5+ years) Has experience in multiple system environments. Combine multiple technologies to provide alternative physical solutions * Performs analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to design solutions. Responsible for the application development as well as the application environment * Understands various types of tools and technologies on the market and their appropriate usage * Responsibilities extend to all components of an application and application environment including front, back, and middle tiers where applicable. * Perform as a Team Leader when required. Additional Skills: A minimum of three - five years of development in large scale J2EE environment is required. Understanding of and experience with relational database concepts and SQL required. Experience with AJAX is preferred.
