We want to pull this data into our Enterprise data warehouse to enable reporting. We need a resource who has experience with SQL working in an Oracle database. This person would have experience sourcing data from a transactional system. We need a self-starter who can gather requirements and then find the data in the source system. Nice to have would be someone with MS BI reporting experience so they could transition into writing reports once the data is sourced. This is secondary to having strong data analyst/SQL skills. *PRIMARY FUNCTION * Responsible for analysis, development, modification, implementation and maintenance of data warehouse systems. Required Skills: - Strong development background with solid experience in database technologies. - Strong Oracle SQL & PL/SQL skills. - ETL tools. - Data warehouse development. Desirable: MS BI reporting tools including SSRS and SSAS. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* 1. Participate as a senior team member in making high level architectural decisions for data warehousing projects. 2. Analyze major subsystem for consumption by data warehouse. 3. Participate as a team member in design, coding, testing and implementation of technical solutions to satisfy requirements. 4. Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date, this includes system, operations, and user for projects worked on. 5. Adhere to System Development Methodology (SDM) as outlined in the Department's Policy and Procedures Manual and ensure that all documentation relevant to the SDM and SOX reporting is generated and signed off. 6. Develops and coordinates with user and other IS staff to conduct appropriate testing which ensures the integrity and accuracy of the proposed changes.
