*Role:* Senior Software Systems Engineer** *Location*: Alpharetta, GA *Duration*: upto 30 Months *Mode of hire:* Contract *Interview type:* Phone + Face to face *Rate: *Competitive *Must have:* - MUST be local to Atlanta - 7+ years of Java and/or C++ development experience - Solid SQL experience (creating statements and queries) - MUST be open to working with other languages that are not Java or C++ - Previous experience working with Oracle databases *Project Description* - To work on "Mediation Zone", a product by Digital Route. Mediation Zone is written in a proprietary language (4GL); the most relevant languages are C++ and Java. Mediation Zone is "java-like" because it uses a Java compiler. - Client/Customer usage data is sent from the Network Engineering Team to Usage Broker/Mediation Zone. There, the data is categorized by usage type (data, messaging, text, voice) and follows the corresponding workflow.
