________ * * *Job Title : Business Analyst Level5* Work Loc : Washington, DC Duration : 12 months *Job Description: * The Business Analyst 5 will be a member of a three person SAS team that will work with the SAS user group to capture and define data warehouse and reporting requirements. The Business Analyst’s primary responsibilities will focus on the full life cycle software development and maintenance of the SAS applications and reports developed using SAS Office Analytics and SAS Enterprise Guide. Additionally, the Business Analyst will be responsible primarily for the following tasks: • Create SAS datasets of claims data from Medicaid claims databases; create status and efficacy datasets; create project specific macros and formats; load claims-related data from Medicaid claims platforms and other healthcare-related platforms; prepare data to be used by the client. • Working with the client to develop the most effective SAS data warehouse implementation strategy • Prepare documentation describing all datasets and variables within, including derived variables, and the project as a whole. • Perform data checks as needed, to ensure integrity and correctness of data displays.
