*Title*: *Informatica /Teradata Lead* *Location*: *Atlanta** (GA)* *Job Term*: *6 month Contract* *Interview: Face to Face* *Rate : $60/hr CTC MAX* *Skill & Job Description * *Required:* * Lead a team of one or more Informatica /Teradata developers * * Able to quickly and independently comprehend and adhere to company framework design and development principles and guidelines. This would be followed by leading the ETL knowledge transfer and delivery management of the rest of the team. * Document detailed application specifications, translate requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules * Physically model Teradata data objects as necessary as well as provide guidance on best practices for performance tuning Teradata * Design and implement appropriate error handling procedures as necessary * Develop BTEQ Data Integration Scripts as required by Client Architecture * Monitor performance, troubleshoot and tune ETL processes as appropriate * Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation * Design and conduct unit tests in accordance with the overall Testing Plan/Strategy for data integration * Validate and verify the data in the target databases. * Drive all integration technical code documentation Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes * Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Data Warehousing environment, experience in handling large volume of data * Excellent working knowledge of: o Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT) utility o Informatica Powercenter o Informatica Data Exchange, Data Transformation, MDM, IDQ and IDE a plus o BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport, Tpump, etc. o Teradata tuning techniques * Strong work ethic and able to lead other strong developers and clearly communicate status, issues, and needs to the project leadership team -- *CHRIS* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *703-349-1074* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
