T he team will be responsible for packaging software following an established process and workflow. Packaging will consist of building silent installation packages for deployment via SCCM and App-V and performing initial installation testing before hand off to the client for user acceptance testing. *Skills * Comprehensive understanding of MSI, MST, MSP and EXE packages for Windows XP, Windows 7 32-Bit, Windows 7 64-Bit; Windows 8/8.1 Understanding Unattended Installation, SysPrep and WIM (Windows Image Format) to deploy Windows XP, Windows 7 32/64 Bit, Windows 8 VBScript and / or PowerShell / batch scripting is required Understanding of Active Directory architecture and group policy Developing, packaging, and supporting applications to update systems to the latest build. Superior knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in SCCM 2007/2012R2, App-V packaging, local application virtualization, and troubleshooting utilities Good interpersonal and influence skills. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team and confident under pressure Professional customer service skills combined with strong written and verbal communication Ability to manage small projects, organize tasks, meet deadlines and collaborate with stakeholders *Experience/Education* Minimum of 3+ years of IT experience along with a minimum of 1 year experience in an application packager role in an enterprise environment, experience managing a packaging program process preferred Development of standard technical project documentation which included functional requirements, technical design and development. Performing MSI and EXE application packaging / repackaging Strong experience creating SCCM packages and programs and verify all packages and programs are built to standard Integrating packages and software deployments into SCCM distributions throughout the organization. Perform and validate test packages for Workstation operating systems.
