1. This is an exciting role with many opportunities to evaluate and
implement cutting edge technologies in the virtual desktop and application
virtualization space.
2. The End Point Engineering team is currently seeking a candidate that can
assess and deliver the standards, tools, processes, monitoring and
reporting requirements to support our Citrix environment.
3. Within the next twelve months we intend to implement Microsoft’s App-V
5.x and System Center 2012 R2, upgrade from XenApp 6.5 to 7.x and assess
how to improve video delivery to clients.
4. This role is a continuing role that will extend into the foreseeable
future (24+ months) and has the possibility to convert to a direct hire.
- An ideal candidate for this role would have proven record of designing
and delivering solutions in these key technologies:
• Microsoft’s App-V and System Center Ops Manager
• Citrix’s XenApp/XenDesktop, NetScaler, StoreFront
• AppSense’s DesktopNow suite
• Wyse Device Manager and Wyse thin clients
Industry/vendor certifications appreciated, but not required.
