He/she will need to work with the business side to understand the needs and then translate that to the tool using SQL, Oracle, etc. The person will be “filling in the blanks” rather than developing code. An important piece of the role will also be documenting the methodology throughout the process since this is a new product for them. They will also administer the db and more importantly continuously add to the process and make updates, documenting everything along the way. The most important skill is experience with the Informatica Suite of products and is a non- starter without that. The next important skills would be DBA skills and people skills. It will be a very consultative role, someone who has hands on experience and is OK doing the hands on piece. Minimum Requirements: Informatica experience - customizing it in the environment. DBA experience Description: Requirements A senior level person with database administration experience to implement and support our Informatica Data Archive and Dynamic Data Masking products across multiple database platforms, primarily, Oracle, DB2, and SQLServer. Individual must be proficient in data base structures, and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Requires interaction with multiple support groups. Needs be able to implement and document Data Archiving procedures and policies, as this is a new initiative. Current experience with Informatica Data Archive product is preferred but not required.
