*Interview mode: Phone/ Skype* *All candidates must have excellent communication skills!!!!* Major responsibilities: •Develop new SAS programs for the purpose of extracting data from the data warehouse and review SAS log and data extracts for accuracy •Write data extraction requirements. •Maintain existing SAS programs. •Communicate with database administrators on data warehouse requirements. •Mine data to detect trends, develop customer profiles, and create predictive models. •Create and implement appropriate sampling methodology for Medical Review audits. *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS* *Competencies, skills, education level, years of experience, etc.* *•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.* *•4 years SAS programming experience.* *•Prior experience writing data extraction requirements* *•Experience with relational databases.* *•Basic knowledge of UNIX program commands.* •Strong analytical and statistical skills. •Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. •Strong oral and written communication skills *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* *These details differentiate this position from other similar positions in the company.* *•Healthcare industry experience.* •More than 5 years experience in SAS Programming. •Medicare Part A and Part B program experience. •Base SAS certification. •Experience with star schema.
