*QA Manager Boston, MA 6+ months Phone hire*

*Skill and Role Summary:*
This position will be involved in all aspects of the software development
lifecycle, including analysis and requirements’ definition, design, user
documentation and operational rollout to other business areas.  Candidates
should be able to manage the testing process, prioritize work to ensure a
high quality product and coordinate testing resources.

*Main duties and responsibilities:*
Both for Manager QA and Senior Associate (Requirement section had the
difference of expectation between the 2 contractors):
Ø  Ensure new releases are of the highest quality and are free of “trading
error” class defects
Ø  Develop and maintain automation frameworks
Ø  Evaluate software applications against design specifications, product
requirements and determine test efforts
Ø  Develop and maintain test plans and specific cases for each release cycle
Ø  Extend test coverage and improve test methodologies and processes
Ø  Communicate and report on metrics related to the status of the testing
effort
Ø  Coordinate the development of documentation such as release notes and/or
user documentation; help improve product documentation
Ø  Collaborate with other team members to devise new or improved techniques
for solving problems

*Manager QA:*
Ø  BA/BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Accounting, Finance or Business
Ø  Minimum 8 years of hands on testing experience with complex software
systems
*Ø  **Minimum 5 years of experience in the investment industry or with a
vendor of financial software*
Ø  Minimum 3 years of experience writing automation suites and frameworks
for functional, API and database testing using any automated tool
Ø  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ø  Ability to communicate technical practice to non-technical end users
Ø  Knowledge of the full software development life cycle
Ø  Experience in development, maintenance and execution of automated test
suites through the use of industry standard tool sets
Ø  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ø  Experience creating test plans, test matrices and schedules
Ø  Proficiency with test document tools and software
Ø  Knowledge of SQL, must possess a solid comfort level navigating and
working with relational databases
Ø  Knowledge of financial taxation and partner reporting systems a plus
Ø  Knowledge of Quality Assurance’s role in an Agile development process
Ø  Team player who possesses a strong work ethic, a “can do” attitude, and
takes pride in their work

*Lead BA with experience working with UX and Tech teams (Health Insurance
exp. a plus) Windsor, CT 12 months phone hire*

Need a Lead BA who has strong experience leading Stakeholder interviews,
driving workshops, working with both UX and tech teams on web portal
project. Any experience working with offshore team would be plus too.

1. Setting up and leading Stakeholders interviews and requirements
workshops to elicit requirements
2. Creating requirements documents such as Scope Matrix, BRD, FSDs,
Business process flows
3.Working with the user experience and technology teams, both Client and
Sapient, in ensuring that the user experience and technology design is
capable of delivering the client business objectives
4. Coordinating with the offshore team (Tech/QA) in providing functionality
overview, resolving and questions and clarifications, and ensuring that the
offshore team has strong knowledge of the client objectives, features and
functionalities
5. Coordinating with the client during UAT
