*JOB INFORMATION
*Develop, modify, or update applications used by business units or
infrastructure units. Play a key role in analysis, design and
development of IT applications and services. Provide daily statuses to
the Project management team and coordinate closely on the testing
efforts. Participate in or review all of the steps in the software
development life cycle to create and modify the software.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
. Work closely with the project leads, business managers and project
managers in identifying and implementing solutions for the identified
business requirements.
. Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and
communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess and
document detailed specifications against design requirements.
. Develop/Update the Web Services conforming to the approved design and
review the code with the rest of the team and project leads.
. Develop test protocols or plan for testing revised application and
review test results.
Qualifications
*
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
*. 5+ years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
. Must have minimum of 5 years of experience with Java, J2EE, JDK 1.6
and above.
. Must have experience with Developing and consuming Web Services using
SOAP, XML and AXIS.
. Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring Web Services,
Hibernate
. EasyMock, JUnit, Spring Test, SOAP UI and Selenium
. ANT, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins
. Subversion, ClearCase and ClearQuest
. UNIX and shell scripting
. Strong programming and analytical skills
. Strong communication skills, both oral and written
. Ability to learn quickly and take on challenges
. High integrity and accountability; willing to do what it takes to make
the team successful
. Having experience with any of the following is a plus: Gemfire, TIBCO
EMS, Business Works, Sonar, Production Support of Business Critical
Applications.
